Photos from the 2024 Open Day

The Lake Monger Community Shed held its annual Open Day on 23rd November 2024. The general public were welcomed into the shed where they received guided tours of the facility and demonstrations of our member's skills.

The family-oriented event provided a sausage sizzle and a range of craft items to purchase. On offer were a large selection of handcrafted gifts such as pottery pieces, chopping boards, woodworking items, and 3D printed ocarinas to name just a few. Also available were homemade treats such as cakes, jams, and preserves.

Not only was the event able to raise over $9k in vital funds for the shed, it also offered the public a first-hand opportunity to see our projects in action and learn more about becoming involved themselves.

The LMCS Committee would like to thank all who volunteered on the day, and also the general public who made the day a success.
